THE SITUATION: The Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel had a number of new offerings and initiatives, and needed an economical and efficient method to get the word out to current and potential guests.

THE OPPORTUNITY: To put the good news in a spot that can be spotted by every visitor to the hotel, highlighted with eye-catching imagery and copy that resonates with the upscale Renaissance brand.

THE APPROACH: Ad 1 developed a poster campaign that was mounted in each of the hotel’s main elevators. Strategic messages introduced eco-friendly practices, a luxury package partnering with local high-end retailers, and a new martini bar. Striking, rich images blended with copy that reiterated the hotel’s prominence as the market’s only AAA Four-Diamond hotel.

THE RESULTS: The posters helped generate an increase in package sales in the first three months. Covers in the new martini bar increased over lobby sales for the previous wine bar.
